Altitude’s catalogue of production music is commercial release standard, so their covers need to be as well. Their brand identity and still life photography style were conceived by & SMITH, back when Altitude was finding business by sending out physical CDs. 10 years on, and approaching album 100, Altitude approached me to update their look for an industry gone digital. I simplified the masthead design for easy screen reading & took advantage of the digital format to make not-so-still lifes (moving, shaking, wiggling GIFs). Photography by Richard Paul.
