NFFTY is the world’s largest film festival for emerging filmmakers. In collaboration with Slash Backslash, I created the identity for their 15th festival edition in 2022. After two years of being forced online by the pandemic, 2022 was a return to their in-person format. Inspired by this we created a tongue-in-cheek identity that celebrated the least appreciated part of the movie theater experience – the ambient sounds of other moviegoers.
